Earth Day at the Detroit Zoo
Catch the Renewal by Andersen event team Saturday at the Detroit Zoo's Earth Day event.
On Saturday, April 17, join the Detroit Zoo in celebrating Earth Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first Earth day was celebrated on April 22, 1970 and the Detroit Zoo wants to continue the celebration with a fun-filled day for the entire family.Activities will include a craft project for kids, entertainment, rock climbing wall, animal enrichment and a scavenger hunt through the Zoo. Join the Detroit Zoo’s Green Team at the Green Games Gallery and enjoy earth-friendly activities, including games made entirely out of recycled products. Local Conservation groups will also be on site providing tips for keeping our planet a healthy place to live.
